Madison & Matthew // A Farm at Lullwater Wedding

Madi and Matthew’s wedding day at The Farm at Lullwater last weekend was an absolutely stunning day. Friends and family from all over the country came to celebrate Madi and Matthew’s wedding and filled the day with so much joy. Madi and Matthew were overflowing with excitement throughout the day and couldn’t wait to see one another at the ceremony. Thundering clouds threatened to rain on the celebration, but sunlight came shining into the barn during the ceremony and brought gorgeous light for portraits. It was truly an amazing day to be able to photograph, and it was a joy to watch Madi and Matthew begin a new chapter together. Enjoy this glimpse into their special day!

Carissa & Joseph // A Thomasville, Alabama Wedding

Surrounded by friends and family, and married in the sanctuary of the church they serve at, Carissa and Joseph committed their lives to one another. The wedding day was full of laughter, celebration, and love. Their love and care for one another is so evident and genuine; it has been an honor to capture the love these two share.

Friday’s weather forecast suggested thunderstorms all day Saturday, but as you will see, we hardly felt a drop of rain. The sun came out on Saturday and made for the most beautiful day! So many people came together to make Carissa and Joseph’s wedding special. To spend the most time with their friends and family, Carissa and Joseph chose to take most of their bride & groom portraits after their reception. We walked around downtown Thomasville and captured portraits in the timeless Southern Grounds Coffee Shoppe, ending the day with amazing light and plenty of love.

Carissa and Joseph, I know God has incredible things in store for you as husband and wife!

Blake & Thomas // A Gaines Ridge Wedding

Blake and Thomas’ wedding at Gaines Ridge was an absolute blessing!

The forecast predicted thunderstorms throughout Saturday afternoon, compliments of Hurricane Nate.

However, we didn’t see any rain until well after the ceremony, and as Blake walked down the aisle, sunlight shone around her.
Blake and Thomas love each other and their friends and family so well. Their ceremony was intentional and I loved how so many people played a part in making their wedding day incredible.
The beautiful details in burgundy and natural tones were stunning; perfect for the fall wedding.
Their day was filled with laughter, and God was certainly glorified.
I loved having the honor of capturing their love and the beginning of their forever. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from their wedding day!

Tiffany & Sage // A Spring Wedding

Several years ago, Tiffany was my small group leader, and she was a constant source of encouragement to me. Watching her become a bride on Saturday was so precious, and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day for their wedding! In the backyard of his parents’ home, surrounded by friends and family, Sage and Tiffany became husband and wife. Their wedding day was so full of Jesus, and God was glorified! The love Tiffany and Sage has for each other is so evident.

Tiffany and Sage, thank you for giving me the honor of capturing your day! I am so excited to see what God has in store for you and your marriage.

Congratulations, Tiffany & Sage!

Hillary & Eric // A Daphne, Alabama Wedding

The Daphne Civic Center was the perfect location for two incredible people to begin their forever. Hillary beamed with excitement as she walked down the aisle, her father leading her. Eric’s eyes teared up as he laid eyes on the woman who would become his wife in just a matter of minutes. After vows were exchanged, Mr. and Mrs. Hadley walked back down the aisle, but this time, as husband and wife! Family and friends celebrated with them long into the night, and you can tell they are well loved.

Hillary and Eric, thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day!

Congratulations, you two!

Blessings, Moriah

Willow & Chase // A Southern Wedding

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding all year! Willow and I connected through Delight early this year, and from the very first message, I knew she and Chase were going to have an amazing day! These two truly love each other—you can tell in the way they glance at each other with a smile, and how they serve one another. Their wedding day was filled with so many sweet moments! From the first look to an amazing first dance, to being surrounded by so many people that love them.

Willow and Chase, I am so excited for you both, and can’t wait to see what God has in store for you as husband and wife!!

SRCS Seniors

A few weeks ago I had the privilege to photograph the seniors of Solid Rock Christian School! Tonight they will walk on stage and receive their diplomas, entering a new chapter of their lives. This chapter is unlike any they have lived so far. For some, it may be their first taste of “freedom”, and the first time they have to make their own decisions. While I haven’t graduated yet, I want to share some Bible verses for all 2015 seniors.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

Whether you are stepping onto a college campus, beginning a new job, or maybe starting a gap year, you are light. Your actions, your diligence, and your faith, all reflect Christ. It won’t be easy. You may be rejected by others because you are striving to live a Godly life. Don’t let that keep you from living all-in for God. Serve others, stand firm in your faith, and pursue Jesus every moment.

Delight in the Gulf

Seven girls at the beach, loving Jesus with their cameras in hand. If you had told me a few years ago, that some of my best friends would be “online friends”, I might have called you crazy. Yet here I am, with so many friends I’ve grown to love through Delight, and girls that are like sisters to me. Delight is a group of young ladies who strive to glorify God with their talents. We encourage each other, lift up prayer requests, and sometimes…get to meet in “real life”! 🙂 Last week I was blessed with time spent with six “Delight girls” in Florida! We took photos on the beach, shared stories over dinner & frozen yogurt, and talked about our hopes & dreams early in the morning. So much joy in that short time we had together, and so many memories made. I’m so delighted to share today some photos from our mini retreat!

Kristi is basically one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet! She wants to show people how loved they are, and how much God loves them! Her creativity is so inspiring, and her photos are amazing!!! Kristi is beautiful inside & out, and it was so special to finally be able to “really” talk with her!

Moriah is amazing. Seriously. Ever since I emailed her over a year ago, after finding her on Instagram, we have been friends, and now Moriah is like a big sister to me. She is always encouraging me to be a better photographer & to love more. It was such a gift to finally be able to meet her after only talking to each on social media for so long!

Sweet Anna has been there for me & all my photography questions for about two years now! She is so wise, and always there to pray for me! Anna is talented in so many ways, and always gives glory to God. It was so amazing to actually see her in-person, and to hear about her hopes & dreams!

She’s also Queen of the Flower Crowns. 😉

Beautiful Grace. Her joy shines with her laugh, and she is so elegant. She is brave & gorgeous, an amazing photographer, and reflects the love of Jesus! Grace has such a sweet spirit and is a joy to be around! I had such a great time getting to know her last week!

Makaela is ever so lovely. She is so strong and kind! She is a fabulous photographer, and so creative! Makaela is a beautiful example of someone who trusts God and desires to know Him more! I’m so glad I was able to meet her!!

Taylor is one of those people who makes you smile whenever they’re around. She is so sweet and her wisdom is beyond her years. She is so beautiful & such a talented photographer! I was so excited to finally meet Taylor & get to know her even more! 🙂

So, yes. These were some of the greatest moments of my year so far, and this was definitely the best spring break EVER!!! I am so thankful for Delight and how I have grown to love Community > Competition while praising Jesus together!

The Tau Conference 2015

This past weekend, many churches’ youth groups in and around Thomasville came together to worship and grow in a deeper relationship with God at the Tau Conference. Three days where hearts are opened, lives changed, and teenagers grow to love pursuing God. This year’s the theme was “Undefeated”.

20 “Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 5:20-21

We focused on grace, and how, as Christians, it should be the theme of our life’s story. So others can look at our life and know God has shown us grace by the way we extend it. We grew to desire the crazy love for Jesus that doesn’t care what others think. We saw that each morning that we wake up is another opportunity to extend God’s grace & love. Everyday the cross stares us in the face. We have been given grace; something we most certainly didn’t deserve.

This weekend was truly amazing, and to everyone who made it possible, thank you. You have helped make a lasting impact in the lives of students that may change the world.

Another thing special about this year’s Tau Conference, was having both Derek Minor and Chris August come and worship with us. Their stories encouraged us, and their music led us to a deeper love for God. We were so blessed this weekend, and I know it will have a permanent impact on so many lives. I ask, that you will pray for each student as they go out into their schools, homes, teams; that they will stand firm in their faith and continue to pursue a constant, love relationship with God. <3

The Carpenter’s {Missions}

The Carpenter’s are one of the sweetest families I have ever met! Not only that, but each of them are very talented, and use their gifts for the Lord! Bro. Aaron has served as the pastor at a local church for the past several years, and their family is very special to so many people in the community! Recently, God called their family to plant a church in Seattle, WA. Please be praying for them, as they are needing partners to join them, and need prayers for a smooth transition as they move this summer. I had the opportunity to take their family photos a few weeks ago, and I’m so excited to share them!

Happy Monday!

Blessings, Moriah
