Donna Smith {Bridal}

I am so excited to finally be able to share this bridal session from September! The new Mrs. Smith is such a beautiful bride, and I know God will bless her marriage! We had so much fun walking around downtown, even if at times we were running from cars! Special thanks to Kim, who kept the gorgeous dress from being caught on anything! (: Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Smith! <3

Allison {Senior}

I’ve known Allison for just over two years, and right from the start knew that there was something different about her. Allison is one of those people who reminds you of how wonderful life is, and she always has a positive outlook! She radiates the love and joy she has in Jesus, and I know God is going to do amazing things through Allison! Thursday afternoon we drove around downtown Thomasville, and finishing¬† just before the sun slipped below the horizon. I’m so thankful for this beautiful girl, and how she’s impacted me!

Thomas made me an older sister 11 years ago, and he’s growing up so fast! Like any siblings, we have had our share of arguments, but also have moments that I wish would last forever. Thomas shares my love for photography, and gets so excited when I let him use my camera.¬† Thomas loves God, and cares for people around him! Thomas, I know God is going to use you in amazing ways!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Here are some football photos from the other day. Enjoy! (:

Happy Friday!

Whatever You Do…

One of my absolute favorite Bible verses is Colossians 3:23.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, and not for men.” Colossians 3:23
I read this and I’m reminded that my life is God’s. Every breath should be praising Him!
Whether it’s finishing homework, rocking your child to sleep, or running a marathon, God is calling you to give Him glory.
When we think about His Love, how He brings us out of the deep prison of sin and into the Light, we can’t help but long to praise Him!
It’s not always easy. Sometimes we may be grudgingly finishing the day’s housework, or have to drive to work or school on a rainy day. But even on “those” days, He is with us. We must ask Him to give us eyes to see Him in the everyday, when things aren’t necessarily going our way. He’s there, and when we meet with Him, we see how good He is!
Meet with Him today! Let God show you Himself in the ordinary, and bring Him glory!

Reflecting Hope Photography

I’m so excited to finally launch Reflecting Hope Photography! I love being able to watch people reflect the Hope they have in Christ from behind my camera! The reason behind this business/ ministry is missions. This past summer I went on a mission trip and came back changed in more ways than one. One way I was changed was that I saw how missionaries make an amazing impact in their area, but also that they need support. That’s when the idea for this ministry was born. This photography business is not the “ordinary” business. God calls us to give Him glory with everything we do, and I felt called to use photography to help support missions. Every session that is booked will help support missionaries and mission trips, as well as helping spread the Gospel! Even if you aren’t interested in a photo session, prayers are appreciated! (: I am so excited for this new adventure!
